BrainFable Terms of Use

Effective date: 1 November 2026 ยท Dakwa Technologies

1. Who these terms are for

These terms are an agreement between us and the parent or guardian who installs BrainFable or creates an account. You must be an adult to accept them. You accept them for yourself and on behalf of the learners who use BrainFable under your supervision. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information and forms part of these terms.

2. What BrainFable is

BrainFable is a study aid with practice questions matched to school curricula. It supports, and does not replace, a learner's school and teachers. We work hard to make every answer correct, but we cannot promise the content is free of errors or matches every school's syllabus, and it is not an official examination resource. If you find a mistake, tell us and we will correct it for every device.

3. Your account

4. Acceptable use

Do not misuse BrainFable: no attempts to break into accounts or systems, to manipulate leaderboards or leagues, to harass anyone through social features, or to copy and redistribute the content. We may suspend social features or an account that breaks these rules, and a report of a study group closes it while we review it.

5. Purchases

6. Content and intellectual property

The app, its questions, explanations and design belong to us or our licensors. You may use them for personal, non-commercial study.

7. Availability

BrainFable is designed to keep working offline. Online features (sync, purchases, social features, notifications) may sometimes be unavailable. We may change or stop features, and will give reasonable notice before removing something you paid for.

8. Liability

To the extent the law allows, BrainFable is provided "as is", and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for exam results. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be excluded, including South Africa's Consumer Protection Act where it applies.

9. Changes and ending

We may update these terms and will tell you in the app before a significant change takes effect. You may stop using BrainFable and delete your account at any time.

10. Law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. Questions: Dakwa Technologies, 5417 Nigel, Ekurhuleni, 1496, South Africa, or support@brainfable.app.
